Your Creative Corner | A 5-Minute Creative Break

Hello, creative friends!

Have you ever noticed that inspiration often shows up after you’ve already started creating—not before?

Sometimes the hardest part is simply sitting down and making that first cut, tear, or glue stick swipe. So let’s make today easy.

🌿 Creative Prompt

Choose a color. 🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🤍

Pick one color that makes you smile today.

Now gather papers, magazine clippings, fabric scraps, ribbons, or book pages that include that color. Create an entire journal page using that one color as your inspiration.

Don’t overthink it. Let the color guide you.

⏱️ The 5-Minute Creativity Challenge

Create one journal tag.

That’s it!

It can be plain or fancy, large or small. Ink the edges, add a ribbon, stamp a word, or simply glue on a scrap of pretty paper.

By the end of five minutes, you’ll have something ready to tuck into a future journal.

💙 Creative Encouragement

Progress isn’t measured by how many finished journals you own.

It’s measured by the moments you chose creativity instead of waiting for the perfect time.

Every tiny project counts.

🔅 Creative Permission Slip

You have permission to create something simple today.

Simple doesn’t mean “less creative.” Sometimes simple is exactly what your mind needs.

Happy creating,
