Our projects will range from beginner-friendly paper crafts and embellishments to junk journal pages, tags, ATCs, altered paperclips, mini journals, collaborative projects, and more.
This archive is meant to:
- inspire future creativity
- help members revisit past projects
- give new members ideas and encouragement
- celebrate the wonderfully imperfect creativity of our community

| Project 1: Two pocket re-usable template Video tutorial by Lovely Villain Designs It doesn’t look like much from this photo, but this is a really useful little template. 🙂 What to bring: – a chipboard weight box, like a cracker box or cereal box (we’ll have some for anyone who needs it) – scissors or a paper trimmer – ruler – your idea book – paper to practice using your template (use your own paper or the free “Shabby Wildflower” printable pages for this) |  |
| Project 2: DIY Rubber Stamp What to bring: – Scrap paper to try out your new stamp – Ink pads if you want different colors – We will provide the tools and one eraser per person. You’re welcome to bring extras to carve. Dollar Tree in Columbiana usually has them 6 for $1.25 |  |

| Project 1: Bind an easy journal! How to bind your own journal, using a three hole pamphlet stitch. This is a nice technique to know, not only for binding journals with one or more signatures, but is also handy for making smaller items to put inside your journals, such as small notepads or folios. This will be a review for some of you, and a new technique for some of you too. What to bring to this meeting if you’d like to participate in this project: * 8-10 papers of almost any kind. They can be all the same size, or different sizes (to create interest). Some paper suggestions: book pages, coloring book or word search pages, printables, scrapbook paper, wallpaper, paper bag , envelopes, packing paper * Please also bring a file folder or large envelope if you’d like to include a cover for your journal. This is optional; you can just sew your signature without a cover if you’d like. * A copy of the visual instructions (printed or open on your phone). | Project: Eyelets & Bulb Pins! We’ll show you how to add a metal eyelet and bulb pin to the corner of a journaling card. We’ll provide the tools and materials. You’re welcome to bring your own decorated journaling card to use instead of the basic one we’ll be supplying. This will be a review for some of you, and a new technique for some of you too. What to bring to this meeting if you’d like to participate in this project: * A journaling card of your choice – but we’ll have plain index cards for you to use if you’d like |  |
